Bathwick St Marys
In the 1840's the Church of England was gifted this site in St Johns Road near the centre of Bath by the Duke of Cleveland to build a new junior school. The school functioned until its closure in th 1980's.
The school was extended twice within the next 40 years each time being built slightly higher above the ground becxause of flooding from the nearby Avon river.
Throughout the scheme the all the variously styled original internal doors have been re-used to great effect.
Three spacious town houses have been created requiring some changes to original floor levels & also other measures to alleviate any risk from future flooding. Each house has its own garden and two spaces in the private car park.
