We were commissioned to design a substantial new house in the grounds of a large detached property in Coombe Dingle, Bristol. The scheme involved constructing an new access in close proximity to an established, quality tree by utilising a road construction that incorporated root protection.
The new house has been carefully sited and designed to ensure there is no direct overlooking of the existing property.
The new property has been designed to ensure both properties have large grounds and the exisitng property retains a strong sense of privacy.
The design also utilises the existing site topography to provide a basement garage.
