Architectural services
Feasibility studies, sketch designs, planning applications, building regulations submissions, detailed design and project management.
Our experience covers many building types but our aim is the same - to produce design solutions that are attractive, practical, sustainable, sensitive to their environment and that above all respond to the individual needs of each client.
Sustainable Design
We carry out carbon/energy assessments as part of the design process and have incoporated ground source heat pumps, solar panels, whole house ventilation and heat recovery systems into a number of our projects.
Conservation & Historic building advice
Surveying, repairing, conserving and adapting Listed Buildings forms a major part of our workload. We have extensive experience of restoring and adapting both secular and religious buildings.
Planning advice and Master Planning
We provide initial planning advice, prepare master plans and handle planning appeals and have worked with a number of planning departments in London and the south and southwest of England.
Interior design
Whilst all projects inevitably have interior spaces to be considered there are occasions where we are required to take the design to a more detailed level producing proposals for bespoke joinery, floor, ceiling and wall finishes, lighting design and soft furnishings.
Expert witness
We have been engaged as an expert witness in a number of construction disputes. We provide detailed reports about construction defects and building contact disputes.
