FEASIBILITY STUDY
We were approached by the United Reformed Church to carry out a feasibility study for the relocation of the Church to the Cheese and Grain in the centre of Frome.
The design makes the most efficient use of the existing building by providing circulation routes outside the fabric of the existing structure. A cafe at ground floor welcomes people to the building and acts as a multi-purpose space for other community activities.
The design of the new circulation tower is intended to appear as a contemporary take on a church spire; whilst the corridors are designed to be transparent , thus retaining the character of the original building.
